How to Price Your Rate Card as a Creator in 2026
A pragmatic guide for creators on setting rate cards that get you hired without leaving money on the table — plus real number ranges by platform and niche.
Rule 1 — Publish specific packages, not vague hourly rates
Brands hate 'DM for rates'. Package your work so a brand can click, understand, and hire in 60 seconds. Good starter set:
- UGC Video (30s) — for a brand to reuse in their own paid ads.
- Feed Post + Story — publishing on your channel.
- Reel / TikTok — publishing on your channel.
- Content Bundle — 3-5 assets, one round of revisions.
Rule 2 — Follower count is a floor, not a ceiling
The old $10 per 1,000 followers rule is dead. Use it as a floor for a boosted post, then add for:
- Publishing on your channel vs UGC-only
- Whitelisting / paid ads reuse
- Exclusivity clauses
- Rush delivery
Rule 3 — Show, don't tell
The single biggest thing you can do to raise your rate is a stunning portfolio. Upload real work. Video wins over stills on Nexus.
Rule 4 — Stack the trust signals
Complete every verification. Bronze → Silver → Gold. Every badge lifts what brands will pay by 15-30%.
Ballpark rate ranges (per single deliverable)
- Nano (0-10K): £50–£200
- Micro (10-100K): £150–£800
- Mid (100-500K): £600–£3,000
- Macro (500K+): £2,500+ (custom)
Add 25-50% for whitelisting, exclusivity or rush.
